Ami McConnell has a knack for good books — finding them, reading them, editing them and writing them.
The Franklin mother of five formerly served as editor-in-chief and vice president of Howard Books/Simon & Schuster and as senior acquisitions editor for HarperCollins Christian Publishing.
McConnell has edited numerous bestsellers by renowned authors including Colleen Coble, Ted Dekker, Karen Kingsbury, Max Lucado, Frank Peretti and Wm. Paul Young.
Most recently, McConnell teamed up with Candace Cameron Bure to write "Kind Is the New Classy: The Power of Living Graciously." It is scheduled for release by HarperCollins in April.
Bure is known for her roles on "Full House" and "Fuller House," her appearance on season 18 of "Dancing With the Stars," her stint as a cohost on "The View" and her roles in several Hallmark Channel movies.
