Ami McConnell formerly served as Editor-in-Chief and Vice President of Howard Books/Simon & Schuster and was a senior acquiring editor at HarperCollins. Her editing credits include many New York Times bestsellers and numerous award-winners. She has edited renowned authors Colleen Coble, Ted Dekker, Karen Kingsbury, Max Lucado, Frank Peretti, and Wm. Paul Young. McConnell served on the Advisory Board of The Buechner Institute at King College and is an active member of the Women’s National Book Association. She’s the co-author with Candace Cameron Bure of the USA Today bestseller Kind Is the New Classy (Zondervan/HarperCollins). She founded and directs WriterFest Nashville.
